Compose better essays and learn through reading and basic research

The research and writing skills workshop is designed to enhance essay composition skills and introduce participants to the basic research and writing tools for essays, investigative reports, and academic writing.    It introduces basic writing skills, including sentence and paragraph structure, grammar and vocabulary, as well as essay structure, coherency and unity. It also includes choices of rhetorical modes such as narration, description, and exposition, along with tips on summarization, effective use of quotation, paraphrasing and styles. The course will prepare participants for conducting basic research and producing writing in their field in the Nepali language for publication.

The course duration is 12 weeks. The classes are held for 3 hours on each Sunday from 7-10 am. New dates for the course will be announced soon.
